Health24Towers
The next generation of intelligent monitoring for telecommunications towers.
Health24Towers is an R&D project led by BSSE, in co-promotion with the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP) and with the collaboration of Vantage Towers, aiming to revolutionize the way telecommunications towers are monitored and managed. The goal is to create the first intelligent and predictive system dedicated to these infrastructures, combining advanced sensors, the Internet of Things (IoT), and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
In a rapidly transforming sector — marked by the expansion of 4G/5G, the increase in data traffic, and the growing need for more robust infrastructure — it becomes essential to understand, in real time, the behavior of towers and to predict failures before they occur. Health24Towers was created precisely in response to this need.
